Professor Lu Bingjiu 's Experience In Treating Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease With Traditional Chinese Medicine

Objective: To study the academic thoughts and clinical experience of professor Lu Bingjiu-the famous doctor of traditional Chinese medicine in Liaoning province and the inheritor of liver-disease school of Wang in Shenyang, Liaoning province.Methods: Analyse the cases of therapeutic method in alcoholic fatty liver disease, thinking of treatment based on syndrome differentiation and teaching methods in clinical of professor Lu Bingjiu.Results:According to the classic and the changed ancient prescriptions, professor Lu Bingjiu formed an distinctive idea in TCM syndrome and treatment. He believed that classical prescriptions were basis and the change was various. We should focus on efficacy and flexible syndrome differentiation. He treated alcoholic fatty liver disease based on the ancient physicians theory which included hypochondriac pain, abdominal mass, phlegm and qi stagnation syndrome. Then he proposed the special treatment rule: treat the pain in lateral thorax and pay equal attention to promoting blood circulation, treat the phlegm and regulate Sanjiao, treat the abdominal mass and protect the spleen and stomach, treat the qi stagnation syndrome and relieve uneasiness of mind and body tranquilization.Conclusion:As a clinical doctor more than 30 years, professor Lu Bingjiu advocated typhoid fever and febrile disease. According to the classic and the changed ancient prescriptions, he was good at treating difficult miscellaneous diseases, especially liver disease,and has achieved good curative effect in clinic.
