Meta - Analysis Of The Effect Of Modified Spleen Decoction In Treating Insomnia

Purpose:Application of Meta analysis system to evaluate the effect of treating insomnia with the method of Gui Pi Tang and provide important evidence for the treatment of insomnia with the method of Gui Pi Tang.Material and method:Searching System of English database including Pubmed,EMbase and The Cochrane Library,as well as Chinese database including CNKI,VIP and wanfang.Time rang from 2005.01 to 2015.8.Randomized controlled experiment with Gui Pi Tang,Estazolam or estazolam and oryzanol as the object of study.Use the Jadad form to estimate the curing quality and used the Rev Man5.1 software to analyze.Results:14 studies involving 1207 insomnia patients were included. These cases included613 cases of treating group(Gui Pi Tang) and 594 of control group(Estazolam or estazolam and oryzanol group).⑴ In the aspect of improving clinical curing rates : P= 0.90; I2= 0%,the amount of pooled effects(OR = 3.50,95%CI:2.44-5.01,Z = 6.83;P <0.00001) showed statistical difference in the improvement of clinical curing rates between Gui Pi Tang group and Estazolam or estazolam and oryzanol group.⑵ In the aspect of decreasing the PSQI : P<0.00001, I 2= 99%,SMD=-4.52,the statistical number(Z=2.81,P=0.005)showed statistical difference in the decreasing of PSQI between Gui Pi Tang group and Estazolam or estazolam and oryzanol group.Conclusion:Meta analysis shows that with Estazolam or estazolam and oryzanol as medicine contrast,Using Gui Pi Tang to cure insomnia shows better clinical curing rates.The result provides important evidence for the treatment of insomnia with the method of Gui Pi Tang.
