Objective: To observe the clinical research about Guipi Tang combined with western medicine was used to treat insomniacs with convalescence of cerebral infarction and the influence on living quality.To explore the feasibility about traditional Chinese medicine treating anhypnia.Methods: Sixty patients that met the inclusion criteria were selected to this experiment.These patients were randomly assigned two groups.The control group included 30 patients and the treatment group included 30 patients,too.The control group was treated with western medicine,and the treatment group added Guipi Tang on the basis of western medicine.Both groups were treated for 4 weeks.Then,to observe the change about symptoms and signs,TCM syndrome integral,PSQI,Polysomnography,and NHP of two groups in pre therapy and post-treatment.Result:1.Two groups can be compared with basic information,TCM syndrome integral,PSQI,Polysomnography,and NHP.They are not different.(P>0.05)2.After treatment,both groups showed improvement about TCM syndrome integral,and the treatment group had better results.(P<0.05)3.After treatment,both groups have improved about sleep according to the PSQI,and the treatment group had better results.(P<0.05)4.After treatment,both groups are increased in sleep time,sleep efficiency,and reduced to the number of arousal and sleep Latency.And the treatment group had better results.(P<0.05)5.After treatment,both groups have improved about living quality according to the NHP,and the treatment group had better results.(P<0.05)Conclusion: Guipi Tang is used together with western medicine can treated agrypnia and improved living quality,sleep time and sleep efficiency for insomniacs that in convalescence of cerebral infarction.
