Purpose: To summarize the academic experience and ideas of professor Gao Tianshu in treating Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathy with wind medicine based on principles of dredging sweat pore.Method:The paper reviewed the literature and clinical research.The summary part details on the concept and role of wind medicine,and the research advance of the treatment of Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathy with wind medicine.In The clinical part,I study with teacher,accumulate relevant medical records,and summarize the academic thinking of Professor Gao in treating Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathy,through learning on the understanding of tutor in etiology and pathogenesis of diabetes peripheral neuropathy and medicine.Results:1.Professor Gao thinks that sweat pore closing and stagnation are initial factors resulting in Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathy. The limbs sweat pore closing and stagnation,gas and liquid poor circulation,blockage of blood and gas running,appeared insensitive skin, limb and joint pain embolism.2.Professor Gao Tianshu treat Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathy based on principles of dredging sweat pore.On the basis of different clinical causes of sweat pore closing and stagnation,Professor Gao takes different treatment and makes good use of wind medicine. Wind medicine can dredge sweat pore based on its nature of Divergence and Circulating,it also can increase the efficacy of other drugs in the compatibility.Conclusion:Professor Gao thinks that sweat pore closing and stagnation are initial factors resulting in Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathy.Professor Gao makes good use of wind medicine based on principles of dredging sweat pore in the treatment of the disease,and the clinical effect is significant.
