A Retrospective Study On The Treatment Of Refractory Pain After Hemorrhoid Surgery With Upper And Lower General Gout Soup

Objective:Hemorrhoids is a kind of common and frequently occurring disease in clinical, epidemiological investigation shows the incidence rate of hemorrhoids is 49.14% in China. Clinical symptoms include bleeding, prolapse, foreign body sensation around anus and pain as the main performances, and will greatly affects quality of life. Clinical operations were widely used to cure moderate and severe hemorrhoids at present, and there are many kinds of operative techniques can be choosed, most patients could receive the satisfied treatment. But there was a discovery be found that some hemorrhoids patients had a stubborn pain after wound healing. Therefore, this research take the method of retrospective study, to explored up-middle-down universal gout decoction in the treatment of stubborn pain after hemorrhoid surgery.Methods:This research collected during August 2010 to January 2016 diagnosed as after hemorrhoid surgery in Anorectal in Dongzhimen Hospital, and prescription contains up-middle-down universal gout decoction. And there are 69 cases satisfied. Having a return visit to patients to learn about the severity of pain when they saw a doctor by telephone, and the other symptoms when they saw a doctor, and the severity of pain after taking the medicine. And use NRS pain scores to record patients severity of pain objectively. Used the SPSS 20.0 to statistical analysis, measurement data with mean add and subtract the standard deviation to describe, normal distribution with the t test are available, and if the data is unnormal distribution, we use the noparametric test; The Chi-square apply to count data.Results:There are 26 male cases and 37 female cases in 63 cases. Patients whose aged between 24-86, the average age was 58.67±11.80. There are 45 cases who diagnosed as after hemorrhoid surgery only, and 4 cases with eczema, and 5 cases with colonitis, and 4 cases with constipation, and 2 cases with colon melanosis, and 1 cases with high blood pleasure disease, and 1 cases with hyperlipoidemia, and 1 cases with intestinal dysfunction. There are 54 cases had a return visit in totally by telephone, other 9 patients are lost due to telephone number loss. The NRS pain scores between 3-5, the average scores was 4.28±0.49. And the average NRS scores was 0.87±0.65 after taking the medicine 1 week or 2weeks later,53 cases were taking the medicine 1 week later, and just 1 case was taking the medicine 2 weeks later, which 0 scores accounted for 27.8%. The NRS scores when patients saw a doctor and the NRS scores after taking the medicine which t test (P<0.01) shows remarkably difference, the NRS scores after taking the medicine are much better than the front.Conclusion:Through this research confirmed that up-middle-down universal gout decoction in the treatment of stubborn pain after hemorrhoid surgery, which the curative effect is distinct, and can relieve pain obviously. And it can provide a reliable way to cure stubborn pain after hemorrhoid surgery.
