Design And Practice Of Material Procurement Management For The System Of Manufacturing Make-to-Order Pieces

Based on the Material Procurement Management System (MPMS for short) of Procurement Department in HEC, problems in the current MPMS are analyzed. The developing tendency of procurement management system is considered and a material procurement management system is designed and developed. The system target and realization principle and methods of business framework used in software development are reviewed. After layering complex application software, a wonderful joint-point is found out between normalized software development and customization which meets the requirements of speed, integration and flexibility. In terms of the current management of Procurement Department in HEC, some advanced material procurement methods are integrated in the design and development processes.In the meantime,according to actual demands in enterprises purchase progress, programs the various operations such as choosing quality suppliers, material receipt and material inspection ,to monitor the execution of purchase plan effectively,and help enterprises reduce their cost effectively.A management system with nine functional modules including Supplier Management, Contract Management,System Management ,Base Data Management,Plan Management,Achievement Valuation ,Comprehensive Inquiry, Material Receipt and Capital Management is designed with rigorous temporal order. Contemporary enterprise management concepts are adopted in this system which can adapt to the procurement management of advanced management mode. Following the system design, the corresponding application software is developed which based on the database technique and business platform. The interfaces of the system are briefly showed. Now the system is being tested.
