Systematic research on tracking and data fusion of missile-based radar is performed in this thesis, which is based on the key pre-research project of national defense named"Information processing technology of active and passive radar".("projecf'is called in the following of this thesis to be simplified)It includes specifically the methods of "bearings-only target tracking"of single platform and the methods of bearings fusion and filtering.Plentiful simulations are presented to testify the validity of these techniques. In the introduction,The background and significance of this research is firstly indicated. Then we briefly review the present reaserch status of "bearings-only target tracking" and data fusion. At the end,the content of this paper is concisely introduced.Chapter 2 focuses on the problem of non-maneuvering target's "bearings-only target tracking".Two classical passive tracking algorithms are analysed in detail. After theory analysis and lots of simulations,we point out that traditional classical single model passive tracking algorithms couldn't satisfy the "project's" request of precision. To overcome this problem,we then investigate the multi-model passive tracking algorithms, and present two new algorithms. Throughout theory analysis and exprements,we conclude that the new algorithms can work more steadily and more precisely than those single-model algorithms at the expense of increased calculation burden.Chapter 3 foucuses on the problem of the fusion between the passive radar and the active radar.Based on "project",we talk about many data fusion problems met in pratical, including fusion structure, filtering algorithms, data association, fusion method etc,and compare many solutions of them.We especially are concerned about the fusion methods under different scheduling circumstance. At the end of this chapter,we study the method of target tracking by the use of bearings and doopler information.
