| The passive radar is a new radar which emits nothing but can detect objects with the help of outer electromagnetic waves. So it plays an important role in modern ECM.By analysing and comparing parameters of satellite signals, including carrier frequency, modulation, code sampling and so on, the dissertation ascertains the illuminating sources, which could be propitious to imaging and system designing. On the theory of bistatic radar, the research reveals the merits of GPS signal in terms of energy, range and doppler resolution. Then the maximum detection range and the clutter to reflected signal ratio(in dB) are investigated in the mode of passive location, which takes GPS as the illuminator, while the location algorithm is detailed. Upon choosing the propest arithmetic for targets imaging and tracking, we completes the methods of the whole system finally.According to the applications of geodesic surveying, this thesis studys the possibility of bistatic synthetic aperture arithmetic in relevant cases, and sets up models of passive moving points. The results show that non-linear filtering arithmetic is mostly suitable in such passive situation by evaluating the performances of linear and non-linear filtering tracking methods. |
