| Doppler beam sharpening (DBS) is widely applied to airborne radar. It is an effective technique to construct the high resolution ground image of radar in its air-to-ground mode. So the research on DBS simulation in order to improve actual battle capability has become hot. According to a continuous idea signal simulation, imaging and image matching, which is formed during the research of our project, my dissertation focuses on the study of two key techniques: terrain scattering,model and image matching between DBS radar image and optical image.In chapter 1, wide applications of accurately control and guide in high tech battles are expatiated in detail. And on this basis, emphasizes to analyze the existing problems of imaging and image matching, which badly restrict efficiency of control and guide.In chapter 2, come straight to the point, analyze the influence of terrain scattering model. Three factors of terrain, antenna and space environment are summarized. The DBS simulation method based on the model is expatiated briefly.In chapter 3, as a basic theory, fractal geometry and wavelet multi-resolution analysis are introduced in detail.In chapter 4, a method is proposed that distill the edge image based on the theory of fractal and make image matching using multi-resolution analysis. It is proved to be more reliable, with a higher calculation speed than that of traditional correlation method.Chapter 5 gives a brief summary and some prospects for further work. |
