The angular resolution of real aperture radar is limited by antenna aperture size, and declines dramatically with increasing range. Studying beam-sharpening algorithm of real aperture radar, can increase angular resolution of detecting surface features which are better than real aperture radar, and make up for the shortcomings of Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) and Doppler Beam Sharpening (DBS) which are difficult to achieve forward-looking imaging, it has extensive applications in the filed of materials drop, weapons guidance and aircraft landing guidance and etc. The thesis depends on related scientific research, does innovative and exploratory research in beam-sharpening algorithm of real aperture radar, the main work is shown as follows:1. The theoretical echo model of real aperture radar is constructed. Irradiation time expression of a single point is deduced, the change of irradiation time of single point due to different scanning direction is analyzed. Regularity for change of irradiation time and angle center of different azimuth target is summarized. A method to correct range migration through compensating linear phase factor is researched. Finally, the theoretical analysis results are simulated and validated.2. The iterative expression of Richardson-Lucy algorithm in the condition of one dimensional deconvolution is deduced, based on Bayesian criteria, and combined the priori information of original target. The beam sharpening capability of this algorithm is simulated in different signal-to-noise ratio. Sharpening ratio in different signal-to-noise ratio is obtained. Influence produced by main lobe broadening and side lobe heightening is simulated.3. The condition of inverting ill-conditioned problem to good-conditioned problem of multi-channel deconvolution and the design of operators is researched. The echo of sum and difference channel is built in the platform of mono-pulse radar. The beam-sharpening quality is simulated in different antenna pattern length.
