With the wide application of heating supplying control system, large amount of history data accumulated. People push more and more demands on decision-making based on history data. Data warehouse is such a technique that makes use of mass data to assist decision and analysis, and have already got the application in many fields up to now in the world, but it is still placed in the concept expansion stage in the our country. The use of data warehouse is rarely in the heating supplying field especially. The future of data warehouse's application is bright, it can provide the basis of decision for enterprises' management, and lend support to the analytical control performance , finally help enterprises to decline the consume, promote safety produce, raise the economic performance.In this paper, the author aims at two problems about analysis of worker's operation ability and control performance and combines the present conditions of heating supplying field, builds a data warehouse prototype on heating supplying management. What the author have done are as follows: requirement analysis, selection of technique type; migration of data; design of OLAP; application of data analysis, etc. This paper lays foundation for building up DSS of heating supplying management from many aspects, such as theories, system mode and implement technique, etc, which is a beneficial trial of application of data warehouse in heating supplying management, and also provide valuable reference for related fields.Through elementary use, it is proved that the design of the system is reasonable, and the operators can get beneficial help from the system. But building a data warehouse system is a long-term mission , and time is limited, so many functions are not implement, and looking forward to be completed in the future.
