The quality of software is more of vital concernment and it is very important to design and implement a support tool to apply software quality management.This thesis is one part of a research thesis named "The Design and Implementation of Software management system" which is supported by the Technology Foundation of Dalian City. It focuses on the main activities in software quality management and deals with the study and implementation of the architecture.Firstly the thesis introduces the background and significance of SQM (Software Quality Management) research, the actuality in research fields and presents the basic concepts and standards of SQM. After analyzing the models of SQM, the thesis presents an improved model of software quality measurement. Then, the architecture of a quality management system based on this new model mentioned above is presented, and the detailed design of the software quality measurement module is introduced.As one part of the project, this thesis mainly deals with the architecture design, standard tail process, defect tractor and management, quantity measurement of quality factors, user satisfactory measurement, process quality measurement and the related technologies.The goal of this thesis is to help software organizations apply software quality management according to their varied projects and quality requirements. This SQM system is a guide to improve the visibility of the process, to improve the process quality, to improve the quality of software products and the enterprise competitive capability.
