Research And Development On MC- Oriented CAM System

For an enterprise which manufactures in order to meet customer's requirements quickly, it is a must to implement MC- oriented CAM System.Different from traditional CAM system, CAM based on MC-oriented manufacture has developed into an automated comprehensive process which included technology such as NC instruction generation, management, and manufacturing automation by the means of DNC. MC-oriented CAM system is a fast manufacturing solution, which integrated CAD, MC, PDM, database, network, DNC and numeric controlling machine. This paper deals with the key technology of CAM based on MC.Chapter One discusses the necessity of MC- oriented CAM, the content and key technology of MC, the researching work done in this paper.Chapter Two makes a detailed discussion in NC instruction generation and offer solution included technology, which is based on Tabular Layouts of Article Characteristics and NC template.The technology of manufacturing information management base on MC is discussed in Chapter Three, the manufacturing information is managed by PDM and is shared by the DNC system, which offer a integrated solution for manufacturing.Chapter Four introduces a DNC system based on Client/Server architecture, the DNC system can dispatch manufacturing task and direct the automation processes of machine tool's workingChapter Five introduces the ShaoXing Textile Machinery Group's implementation of CAM based on MC. It gives an example on how to implement the CAM processes with atypical part.Chapter Six summarizes the paper's researching work and innovation; the future research work is also suggested in the chapter, too.
