Support Agile Manufacturing Network Pdm System And Its Key Technologies

PDM (Product Data Management) is a widely used technology in worldwide manufacturing enterprises. This paper is supported by the foundation of basic national defense research. The project is about agile virtual manufacturing, so the article concentrates on constructing a web-based product data management system in agile manufacturing environment.There are some mature PDM systems to provide to enterprises, but short of systems supporting the SME (small and medium sized enterprises) and alliance of enterprises. The emphasis of this article is to set up a PDM system suited for SME and alliance of enterprises. According to the reality acquirement and the PDM enabler, construct the functional model. According the characters of agile manufacturing, bring up the system structure and the web solution that based on multi-tier distributed application is provided. Bring forward some feasible web-based configuration solutions by all the parts in the whole system structure. Another important technology is information integration and sharing between enterprises. Set up a system security model and implement reasonable user and authorization management. This paper discusses the technology of customization and application integration, and completes some implementation.In the last chapter, method and technology used to set up the prototype are introduced in detail. All functions of this prototype are explained.
