With the rapid development of the modernized industrial technology, the requisition on variety, specification, quality and yield with strip steel increases day by day. The looper control method of hot strip rolling mill is the key of improvement of hot strip quality, This technology has been in relatively active state of development all the time at home and abroad at present.Based on the digitalizations project of control systems for a hot strip mill in some domestic factory, the paper studies in the computer control system of this kind of mill, especially further studies in control methods of looper tension and angle according to lots of materials home and abroad , Have finished a large amount of theories and practice work.Have analysed relatively domestic and international various kinds of control solutions to the control system in recent years at first, on the basis of analysing in theory, I have modeled the dynamic looper control system , Take into consideration the equipments and personnel terms in the factory, I issue the decoupling and fuzzy method of the MIMO system of looper control for the finishing hot strip rolling mill . Utilize Matlab Simulink to carry on the emulation of the control system at last. According to the data from simulation, the new method obviously has comparative advantage than the traditional control scheme.During the process of debugging in the factory, with applying the technology of auto-initialization of looper position measurement instrument to minimize the effect of looper position measurement noise ; and new compensation way of AGC system in which the AGC compensates the forward roll speed; and the...
