Strip Automatic Wide Control System On Rough Milling Zone Of Angang Hot Strip Mill

The author participates in debugging work of width control of Edger Roll Milling of 1580 hot mill of ansteel subsidiary company, which can produce 3900 thousand tons per year. And complete programming and debugging of Sizing Slab Press by myself. This paper depends on 1580mm hot mill line. The main work is as follows:(1) We study automatic width control of Edger Roll Milling of rough mill, new technology is used include Short Stroke Auto Width Control(SS-AWC), Force Auto Width Control(RF-AWC), Feedforward Auto Width Control(FF-AWC) and Dynamic Setup. First we need find out the mathematics models of new technology, give out control program sequence, and write program and control equipment. Finally get effect of new technology using at width control.(2) The Sizing Slab Press (SP) research of rough is importance. It can change slabe width largeiy and firstly work of Angang about SP. First introduce equipment position, motor constant, base automatic hardware configure, second study control of parts of SP, and write program and control equipment, we discuss operation system of SP, we also discuss the hard questions of programming and debugging about screw down and pinch rool. Last get effect of SP using at width control.(3) Introduce Power PC controller, Controller is used to control hydraulic gap effectively by direct first computer of 1580 hot mill. Controller can satisfy sampling time and response speed which are requested by strip shape control system. Controller provides convenient programming and debugging environment. It is very effective to control position and pressure of hydraulic system.The construction of hot mill production line has formally put into operation, running in good condition, confirmed the production line design, installation, debugging to integrate the accuracy and effectiveness.
