Research Of The Event Match Mechnism Of The Active Data Warehouse Based On Rulese

Over many years evolution, data warehousing has evolved from the simple reporting platform to a more sophisticated enterprise data warehouse, which is subject-oriented, integrated, non-volatile and time-variant collection of data in support of management's strategic decisions. The traditional data warehouse, however, does not support tactical decisioning, and does not provide the near real time data. So the active data warehousing appears.A new concept of the active data warehouse (ADW) is given in this thesis which is based on the traditional data warehouse and the active database. Meanwhile, the author makes a contrast between the active data warehouse, the traditional data warehouse and the operational data store.
