Research And Implementation On Embeded Industrial Web Technology

With the development of modern communication, network technology, especially the web technique based on TCP/IP protocol has been widely used and spread out. The transmission protocols of HTTP (Hypertext Transfer Protocal ), FTP (File Transfer Protocal), Telnet and SMTP( Simple Message Transfer Protocol) have become the core of the Web technique. And what's more important is that the protocols are open, standard and independent of systematic platform. With the existing net hard wares and based on TCP/IP protocols, we can easily set up Internet/Intranet net systems. Web technique permits any user anywhere, by using the web browsers, to access to the net and any sort of information issued by web servers, thus networks can be interconnected worldwide. Web browser is written in HTML (Hypertext Markup Language) that is based on HTTP, and its standard interface is independent of the soft wares and hard wares of user's terminal, therefore, maintenance work and training expense for the users'terminals can be greatly decreased. In the conventional application of web technique, web servers exist with data banks or file systems in a highly efficient computer. Data bank servers are the source for web servers, and web servers are the centers for information. They receive the requests from browsers and with the requests, they produce new web pages and send them back to web servers, completing the data transmission within the network. Since the data searched by the web servers come from the data bank system, it is not strict with real time, so it can meet the requirements of the systems for enquiry and searches. Web technique is suitable in remote control and control system of industrial production process for promoting production efficiency and management. The operation of the locale equipment can be observed directly from the browsers. But as an oriented-task system, which is specific in real time, it must solve the problems of real time (in the web application), the structures of the system and security of the system. As a new technique that combines with locale operation requirements, embed web technique is a good solution. Through analyzing conventional industrial control systems, this article puts forward an embed web servers, which can be used in controlling equipment, and introduces the real operation process of web servers and its major functions. Based on HTTP, the Web server works by using sub-programming of TCP/IP, and succeeded in resembling environment. The Web server possesses some necessary interaction functions, and is suitable to work in an embed condition.
