Design And Development With Ceramic Industry Electronic Business System

E-business has become more and more popular overseas because it is very profitable. In Chinese ceramic industry, however, E-business is still in its infancy. Many companies have not fully understood E-business, therefore, cannot run the business successfully. In ceramic industry, traditional business operation have transactions made by physical exchange or face-to-face contact either directly or indirectly. Given today's heated competition in the market, the traditional marketing and sale can no longer quickly respond to the fast changes of the market conditions. For this reason, introduced is the E-business tailored for the ceramic industry, which is able to make up for the traditional operation, making the client company generally more competitive. It expatiated on ceramic enterprise building the E-business to be essential base on analyzing marketing mode of traditional ceramic business . At first ,it researched the system's architecture which was designed five layers of structures . On the base of which it researched the run mode of the E-business general and each system. In developing the E-business system for ceramic industry, there were three key techniques involved: 1) A 4-layer hierarchy using JSP and JavaBeans to separate representation logic and business logic with connected-pool management; 2) Research on database build-up and access so on; 3) Research on ceramic industry E-business system internal synthesis and its interconnection with ERP system. The internal synthesis was done by connecting sub-systems via data ports while the interconnection with ERP system was done by XML and SOAP techniques. Based on the research above, the ceramic industry E-business system has been developed and applied to Chongqing HuaTao as an example, which proved the original idea and design of the proposed system are both reasonable and feasible.
