Taking laser diode as optical source ,laser diode imaging lidar(LDIL) can provide information of target.including 3D and grayscale.It has good prospect in military use.As one of LDIL's key parts,the receiver had been developed in the present paper,consisting of three sub-block,such as photoelectric transformer,amplifier circuit and time discriminating circuit. Its performance has the important influence to the entire system performance.The paper analyzed wavelenth, power and bandwidth of laser signal,then proposed the design thought, the technical specification and feasible project of the receiver circuit. In the photoelectric detection circuit, high speed,high sensitivity avalanche photodiode(APD) was used; wide band, wide dynamic range, low noise transimpedance amplifier NE5210 was used in preamplifier circuit; time discrimination circuit operates in high-pass mode. The circuit has wide band, high speed response characteristic. Based on the electric circuit characteristic, theoretical analysis has been given about bandwidth and noise. Finally, according to the theoretical analysis result, high speed receiver has been developed.The conclusion of theoretical analysis about photoelectric detection circuit is very useful to others.Experiment proved that, the high speed receiver's performance fit the request, has a high speed response characteristic and ant-jamming ability.
