| As a subversive program mode, Reality Show has been socially controversial since it's naissance. However the alternative one has transferred itself to mainstream of global TV industry within only 6 years, thus attracts a lot of attention on it's spread, transmutation and transplanting.Based on an overview of its definition and history in chapter one, the thesis offers a very detailed analysis of the growing background of Reality Show. In chapter two, the thesis angled the transmutation orbit of Reality Show in terms of Product Lifecycle theory. And points out three important transitions in the evolution course of Reality Show that ripped these outdated labels such as "fantastic game environment", "ordinary people acting" and "low-cost production" off it. With an analyzing of the status quo of Reality Show's transplanting in chapter three, the study assesses the success made in Reality Show localization objectively, and puts forward the existing problems in localization process and the ultimate outlets. |
