Case Management Information System For Public Security Based On .NET

To adapt to the new changed situation, strengthen polices' fighting capacity, raise the administration and law-executors' efficiency and meet the demands of public security, the Ministry of Public Security started the Golden Shield Engineering, which was approved by the central authorities, PR China. The purpose of this engineering is to build up a national information system based on the public security' s private network. As an important part of the Golden Shield Engineering, Case Management Information System (CMIS) for public security based on .NET provides a technique to solve successfully some problems, such as some policeman would not place a case on file for investigation and prosecution, or violation of police regulations to close a legal case.Firstly, the paper gives us the detail description of the design and development of the CMIS, including the overall design, the software hierarchy design, the system functional module design, the database design and the server design. The system' s functional module design includes the requirement of system module and the system procedure model.Secondly, this paper deeply analyses and researches the technology, which is used in the CMIS, and briefly introduces some technologies, which relate to the design and development of CMIS. These technologies include . NETFramework, Common Language Runtime, .NET Framework Class, ASP. NET, XML, Web Service, etc. The XML and Web service is used in CMIS by other people in the team. So I would just place detail introduction on the technologies related to my work. At the same time the paper introduces the reason of using Microsoft' s techniques.Thirdly, this paper introduces the system module design and implementation, including the design and implementation of the authentication module, the design and implementation of case report module, the design and implementation of case inquire module, the design and implementation of case management module and the design and implementation of Crystal report module. Each includes function, procedure, interface, code, and data dictionary.Finally, the paper describes the procedure of testing. The application implementation of CMIS is completed and deployed.This paper solves the problems in real world. .NET technology is used in the Public Security domain on the basis of software engineering theory. The product is novel and practical. The ratio between performance and price meets the demands of client and lowers down the risk of project. It possesses good economic benefit. This project contributes to the electronic government and brings the clear social efficiency.
