The PDM System Based On The SQL Server

In this thesis, according to the true developing case—"the PDM(Product Data Manage) system for the mechanical seal products" of the business enterprise (Sichuan Nikki Seal corporation) .I display the whole process of the realizing of " the PDM system based on the SQL Server " during this case. In this case, I use the knowledge which I learned from the Soft College in Sichuan University.In this system, primarily use the database SQL Server 2000 to realize the system's data management. SQL Server 2000 use the Client/ Server the relation type of the system construction .The system In this thesis, primarily the text file of the outstanding PDM system management function.Aim at the business enterprise to already have" Sichuan Nikki software of producing and management" system, at design PDM, make use of the resources of the network database, and programming to connect the PDM with the ERP(Enterprise Resources Programming) ,the user can query the information on the "spare stock" directly. According to design the painting template in the AutoCAD to make the PDM use the data in the AutoCAD. In this article, bring up to explore in the Web Explorer in the PDM system, in this way, the users have not need to install the software of clients.This thesis primarily includes the database development(SQL Server), the development of the AutoCAD database, the Foxpro programming technique, J2EE/ EJB technique ,etc. Discussed the programming, design for the large database SQL Server act as the PDM system backstage database; The method that how to design the painting template under AutoCAD, how to use the information in the AutoCAD of thesystem; And the uses of the Foxpro method towards SQL Server ; And the technique of the J2EE/ EJB to search on the SQL Server.
