The boom in Internet provides people with new access to information. The increasing interaction and transaction of application promote the transition of function of Internet from a mere information distribution platform to an Internet application platform. The building of distributed Internet application has been simplified greatly thanks to the Microsoft .NET framework. The traditional Client/Server application architecture has changed into 3-tier web architecture. This paper introduces the design and realization of Tuha Oil Field Production Information System (abbreviation as: ProInfo) based on ASP.NET platform, in which includes the system architecture, functions, some important technique and implement methods. ProInfo based on ASP.NET adopts Web three hierarchy of .NET structure which makes full use of Web Services techniques to improve share degree of data and is good for integration of Oil Field information System. This system uses B/S pattern based on ASP.NET, multi-hierarchy design and MVC design pattern to divide user interface from service logic, which makes the system easier to be maintained. Partial update of a page can be achieved with the help of page event model provided by ASP.NET, which solves the problem of a great deal data input from client. ADO.NET technique is used in data accessing layer that makes the database access more efficient. The system also adopts some techniques such as EXCEL and vector generation chart dynamic in server site. Finally, the XML data format is employed in user configuration, which makes safety management simply and effective. The background of the former project is briefly introduced in this paper; the limitation of the old system is analyzed. Some new requirements are analyzed in detail. The revolution solution for the old system is presented in this paper, which is based on ASP.NET. Some critical design and its implementation in sub-system are described. At last, the application prospect of this system is put forward.
