The Analysis Of Chinese Digital TV Industry

Digital TV has a very good future of market development, in the global point of view, almost all advanced countries are trying their best to develop the digital TV and related industries as well, and having made great progress. Especially some advanced countries which developed well in digital TV, such as the United States , Japan and some European countries as well, their experiences of the development pattern and technology criteria etc. which could be used for reference to our country.The development of digital TV should have three essences: the government support ,the mature commercial pattern and the advanced technology criteria as well. But in China digital TV, the technology criteria still isn't clear, the commercial pattern isn't sure, the content is deficient, are all limiting the good development of Chinese digital TV.So , in the development of Chinese digital TV, we should draw lessons from other countries' experiences and proceed from our own national conditions to address the issue of how to conduct the industrialization and intensification of Chinese digital TV.This thesis introduces the current state and millions of commercial opportunity, analyses the synthetical influences of digital TV and difficulties and keystones of digital TV. Based on them, brings forward some new thoughts of development of the digital TV industrial chain.This essay has six parts.The first part is the introduction, brings forward the great opportunity for the development of Chinese digital TV. And meanwhile, summarizes the research frame and methods of the essay.The second part summarizes the development of digital TV in the whole world, introduces millions of commercial opportunity in it ,as the illustration of basic concepts and reality.The third part focuses on the theory, analyses the influences of digital TV on media> industry and the whole society, pick up the CCTV as one of the case study.The fourth part focuses on the reality , analyses the different aspects(criteria> industry > content > operation ^ finance and equipment) of digital TV, analyses the difficulties and keystones of it.The fifth part is based above, brings forward some new thoughts of development of the digital TV industrial chain.The last part is concluding remarks. In this part, some measures have been suggested in order to promote the good development of Chinese digital TV.
