More and more mobile telephone and other wireless device take part in our work and our life. At the same time, it is imperative that mobile telephone and other wireless link with the network. J2ME is a prevalent technology and an important infrastructure development platform of wireless applications. Various Java techniques can be implemented and complex functions can be achieved on mobile devices based on J2ME. There are many disadvantages in the software of conventional mobile telephone.On the other hand, the advantage of Java technology in wireless network service is very obvious. Come with the powerful cell phone, the development trend of the entertainment market based on the cell phone is very obvious. The entertainment market based on the cell phone will follow the PC entertainment market to be the new important business increase point. According to the analysis of the current cell phone entertainment market, its development trend and other cell phone application, the author accumulated a lot of knowledge and experience. This article is an introduction of a cell phone entertainment game that the author joined to develop using the accumulated knowledge and experience. This article will focus on the following points:1.The key techniques in mobile game application development are discussed in detail—the main functions and the structure of J2ME , basic knowledge about mobile game are specially emphasized and the development tool.2.The basic steps and key factors of mobile games development on J2ME platform is discussed in detail based on the author's real project—"the sace war",and the method of abstracting and encapsulation of the graphic role classes and keypad input interface classes and the role controlled module are illustrated at source code level.The thesis is organized as below: chapter 1 is an introduction to the research background of the thesis; Chapter 2 describes the system structure of J2ME platform; Chapter 3 introduces mobile increment business. Chapter 4 introduces the key knowledge of mobile phone game and its development tools; Chapter 5 is a detail introduction to the"the Space War"project which form the main body of the thesis ,in which the author discusses with program examples how to implement the 3 major parts...
