Along with the Internet rapidly developing , third generation mobile communications (so-called 3G) licenses will be soon issued , wireless communications products can provide broad band multimedia business with more Mb/s speed for the people, and the handset will become a communications terminal combined a good many applications with voice, image and data transmission. It will further promote the development of the mobile business affairs in many ways.As a practical application in mobile business affairs, mobile ticket-order system development is based on meeting mobile user demands of the rich and colorful content. And the mobile telephone user can easy inquire about ticket information of some movie theatres at any time and everywhere without going out. It makes ticket order and buy easy and shortcut, then the people living in quick rhythm can better use the handset to improve life quality, hence improvements and research on this kind of applications are becoming a new trend.By comparasion and analysis of build technologies between several current wireless platforms, the thesis proposes a mobile ticket-order system architecture with the J2ME/MIDP as front end and J2EE application server as back end.The emphases of the thesis is mainly focused on system framework design, system design mode, communications rules, wireless client-end design and system realization. The implemented system discardes the traditional client / server (C/S) mode and adopts a multi-layer system framework architecture, which has the component-based characteristic and takes the EJB design module as the core module. The whole framework design adopts a N-Tier (Multi-layer) frame, namely mobile client end - Web server - application server - database server;But the system design mode adopts an integration of global unitary MVC mode with partial client-end and server-end facade mode (Facade), as well as with adapter mode (Adapter) and proxy mode (Proxy) to distinguish denotation and logic;Communication mechanism is expatiated on the following three aspects: communication mode, data exchangeformat and communication security;During client-end design, the operation theory of MIDP application is discussed at first, then based on demands of system function design and characteristics of MVC mode, the MIDP main class, view class, controller class and model class in turn have been analyzed and implemented;System realization is started with building system operation environment, and then objects of system classes. The detailed realization of some concrete class objects has been descriped and the system operation results have been given in the final parts of the thesis.
