The Research And Design Of Gatekeeper In Conference System

As the rapid development of the internet and IP technology, VoIP technology is widely used. Among the various protocols, H.323 standard is the most mature with the highest market quotient, and supply to construct any IP scale telephone network.This paper introduces the design and realization of a gatekeeper, witch based on H.323 protocol. The gatekeeper is designed for telecom perators or industriors customer. It can connect with other H.323 facilities with the capability of Address Translation, Admissions Control, Zone Management, Call Management and Bandwidth Control, etc. Besides, it also supports Web Management and dynamic modification of running parameters. As to the registration right, we provide three ways, that is the registration of full authorization, ip address bound and code bound. With this purpose, we designe a finite state machine, and united the three registrations, This paper submits a solution towarding the penetration of the H.323 terminal and the firewall concerning by the industry field. The solution is only required to estabilish a TCP connection between the gatekeeper and the terminal withount much change of the exsting system and of additional hardware device.
