With the development of the computer science, the system simulation technology has been a common method using in the scientific discovery and scientific research in many fields. The simulation of an air-condition is a focus, but it must design an accurate model of an air-condition firstly to has a good effect. An actual system is very complex. Using the object-oriented thoughts and methods to model and simulate, a system can be divided into several objects, each object expresses the characters and actions of one part of the system, and all objects express the whole system clear and compactly ,it can effectively reduce complexity. Although there are many tools used in object-oriented analysis and design, UML has a broad application future in simulation field because of its powerful advantages. Recently, UML begins to be applied in the simulation field, but the research is in the initial stage.First of all, this paper analyzes and studies the application of the object-oriented methods in simulation field and UML in detail, then applies UML to analyze and design the simulation training system, the central air-condition, the failure management module and the failure database by combining with the actual project of the central air-condition simulation training system, finally checks all the designed models ,and the results prove that all the designed models are correct.Through applying UML in the central air-condition simulation training system, the work in this paper is beneficial and valuable for further application of object-oriented simulation based on UML in the simulation field.
