Research On The Development Platform Of Expert System Based On Web Services

Currently expert system is popular to all kinds of domains, but most of them are single and developed without network. They are restricted by the time and place and cannot fit in with the Internet. With the prevalence of Internet everywhere we need to achieve the interactivity and integration with multi-platform, language-independent, loose coupling on the Internet. And Web Services technology is just a good scheme to resolve this problem. It aims to build a platform-independent, language-independent layer. Its development brings a brand-new angle of view to us.This paper studies deeply the elements, prospect of expert system and the newest academic achievement and application of Web Services technology in allusion to the background discussed above. It also analyzes three models of expert system based on web that exist currently and demonstrates the feasibility and advantage of wrapping the legacy expert system based on Web Services. At the same time this paper gives a basic framework of the web expert system based on Web Services. At last associating with HESE system (Hohai Expert System Environment), we realize a practical system, i.e. Web HESE System, using Web Services technology. We also verify the validity and general de this frame and discuss the key technology and the design model used in implement. At last, we discuss how to integrate the security into the Web HESE System for the reason of security.
