Research And Development Of Value-added Platform For Domestic DBMS's Appliance

Developing and popularizing domestic database system is one of the most important strategies for the development of our country's information industry. Though the domestic database system has made great progress, there's also a gap compared with mainstream database system in performance and function. There are difficulties in popularizing the domestic database system.According to the characteristic of Information software and the difficulties existing in populating the domestic database system, the value-added platform of domestic DBMS is researched and implemented. The platform can make up the deficiency of domestic database system and enhance the performance of DBMS, which shorten the gap between the mainstream and make the DBMS easy to use.Aiming at shortening the gap between the domestic and international mainstream database systems, key modules of the platform are researched and implemented. With the SQL matching tool, temporary tables and layer association, the platform provides advance function of operations for DBMS, which is not supported by domestic database. The technology of memory data object and quick query algorithm are adopted to solve the problem of inadequate mass data processing speed of domestic database. The platform upgrades the performance of domestic DBMS and bring increment to appliance of domestic DBMS.By using the platform the development of application based on DBMS becomes easy. The upgrading of DBMS needs upgrading the platform only, and the application needs not upgrading. The platform makes up the function and performance of domestic DBMS, which avoids potential risk when the user uses the domestic DBMS. The domestic DBMS can be used widely before the consummation of domestic DBMS.The platform has been used widely in series softwares of Kaimu, and makes these softwares run on the basis of mainstream DBMS.
