Research Of Intelligent Mobile Agent System And Implementation Of Prototype System

Mobile Agent System and Intelligent Agent are two hot pots in recent research of Distributed System. Mobile Agent is a segment of program or code that can move from one host to another host in heterogeneous network autonomously and interacts with other Agents or resources. On the other hand, the researches of Intelligent Agent study intelligent action in the procedure that many Agents fulfill a common task by division of job and collaboration. Most of present researches in these two fields mainly focus on migration technique, security technique, standardization and collaboration in Multi-agent System.After summarization of present researches in Mobile Agent System and Intelligent Agent, this paper makes some analysis and comparison of typical Mobile Agent Systems. It also classifies the researches of Intelligent Agent. Then, a combination method is used in the study of these two types of technique from a new angle, Based on the study, a newly learning method by code migration and a general Intelligent Mobile Agent System Framework are proposed which focus on the intelligence of mobile agent. After partial implementation of the proposed framework which takes Aglet 2.0 developed by IBM Japanese Corp. as the fundamental platform, some test to this system is performed which shows its reasonableness and usability. At last, This paper puts forth further steps in this subject and proposes some suggestions to improve the framework.
