Embeded-system is one of the rapidest developing technology. Because of its wide-developing foreground and good-developing trend, it is paid more and more attention. VxWorks is the embedded real-time system developed by Wind River System Inc. It includes operation system and integrated developing environment and has excellent performances of security, real-time etc. This thesis focuses on using embedded-system as central control module,realizing LAN link of CPU-1432(made by Euro Tech)and wireless link of MIMO experiment communication system.The paper first briefly introduces the key techniques of MIMO experiment system, then introduces the characteristics and developing mode of embedded system, hardware CPU-1432 used in this experiment system, real-time operation system VxWorks and the function of Tornado integrated in VxWorks. Chapter 3 describes the process of developing BSP(Board Support Packet)in several methods, choosing BSP for Pentium and modifying it according hardware platform and explanting. Chapter 4 describes the development of Point-to-Point Protol, using muli-task mechanism of VxWorks and realizing PPP encapsulation and PPP link. Though RTL8139 CPU-1432 can capture ethernet packets sent by other PCs in one LAN. Chapter 5 describes the development of application software. Though Sockets function CPU-1432 can exchange datas with other PCs in one LAN and realize transmission of files and real-time pictures.
