PCI is a high-speed data interface between computer and out side world. Many devices such as graph card and sound card exchange data through it. The data acquisition system using PCI technology can make full use of its high speed and P&P attribution, which can make the digital data process done by CPU and can also build a basic for the research of the new type of the B ultrasound.In the first part of the paper, the protocol and electrical attribution of the PCI will be introduced. Then in the second, the way and method of realizing the hardware of the data acquisition system will be discussed. In this part of the paper, it includes the hardware circumstance of the Plx9054, initiation of EEPROM and the ping-pong circuit. The programming of the driver is the major part of the task, which is described specifically in the third chapter of the paper. As the application layer of the system, the method of using Matlab API in user's software is introduced to make a way of building application lab for the data acquisition system.In the last part of the paper, a way of testing the capability of the whole system and the testing result is listed. And parts of the system that can be enhanced in the future by other students are also described.
