| The computer bus is the channel of data transmission in PC. It's a key tache of data acquisition system. Conventional data acquisition system is based on ISA bus. With limits of bandwidth, it is difficult for the ISA bus to perform high-speed data transmission. The PCI bus, with outstanding characteristics, has broken this bottleneck and become the main bus in the computer.The PCI bus protocol is so intricacy, however, that there's more difficulties in realizing the interface than ISA bus, and it's hard to design the appropriate digital logic interface circuit for PCI. There are two effective schemes to realize the interface conveniently at present: one is to adopt CPLD or FPGA and the other is to adhibit special interface chip.This thesis discusses the technique on the interface of data acquisition board based on PCI bus. Contrast has been made between the above two schemes, and finnaly the paper adhibits the second scheme -- PLX9054 to design the interface circuit based on PCI bus, make the interface testing board and also play the appropriate driver codes for the board. After repeated testing and debugging, the interface circuit is approved rational. It can complete the data transmission and implement the interface between the peripheral equipment and PCI bus successfully, which indicates that the scheme of adopting special chip to realize the PCI interface is feasible and convenient in technique.The detailed scheme and realization of the interface circuit design is also described here. The paper introduces the whole process of the development in two aspects: hardware design and driver development. During the hardware circuit design, it first narrates the capablities and characteristics of PLX9054, and then describes the circuit design. During the driver development, it first tells about the choice of the develop tools and driver models, and then depicts the process of the developing and debugging with WDM driver for the interface board.
