| Spatial data sets contain abundant knowledge,but the develoment of research on spatial data mining is slow.This paper presents a new notion,Hot Spot mining,which aims to discover implicit and interesting pattern from spatial data set,and to resolve the problem that we have plenty of spatial data but little knowledge.Data mining system has come to the third generation during 30 years' development.All kinds of systems are independent,they can not communicate smoothly. The core of data mining system—mining algorithms, which always are set up as Plug-in component, are difficult to be added or removed to/from system.Web Services technology can solve above problem.The main task of this paper is presented as follows:This paper expatiates the development course of spatial cluster,spatial outlier detection and time sequence data mining,and sums up the development progress of data mining system.This paper presents a new notion-Hot Spot mining,which is based on spatial data mining technique.Hot Spot mining is the theory and method of detecting,picking-up and deducing hot spot targets.It can be applied to fields such as disease control,crime prevention,sudden incidnet pre-alarming,disaster prevention and cure, and discovey of global hot spot area by studying the patten and rule of objects' phenomenons' and events' spatial location,spatial distribution,spatial modality and spatial relation,researching key technology and developing prototype system of spatial data mining which is able to identify hot spot area and hot spot incident.Web Services is an advanced software integration technology.This paper presents an idea of building data mining system by web services.Through this idea,we can integrate multiple algorithm services into one system,thus the system not only will be more powerful but also will be smarter. After thoroughly studying the relevant theory of data mining system and web services,this paper emphasis on researching the mining system—HsMiner,which is hot spot recognition oriented and based on web services.HsMiner combine service oriented architecture with three-layer architecture of traditional data mining system.It insert a UDDI register into middle mining layer,the UDDI acts as algorithm management module will support algorithm service's publishing,discovery and integration.This paper demostrates the practice of hot spot mining by mining data of FuZhou geothermal resouce,it proves that the HsMiner system is efficient. |
