Research And Development Of Manufacturing Process Management Information System

The process of manufacturing is the most important technology information resources for mechanical process in enterprise or manufacturing, it also is an important information foundation for process resources in designing process regulations, constituting produce scheme and controlling produce product. The object of developing process resources management system based on network technology is to share process resources information and offer relatively coherent process resources. It can improve process data's veracity and consistency in whole enterprise, and adapt to computer and network's application and development in manufacturing.The paper is based on the information project of Management the Product Produce Preparation System (MPPPS) in the NO1 department of 847 Plant. In the paper, the detail of designing and developing of Manufacturing Process Management Information System, one subsystem of MPPPS, is presented.The classification of manufacturing process resources and process file is introduced. We induce out the function request of this system by analyzing the manufacturing process management and its frame. According to the requirement of the project, the construction and the process information object of actual production in 847 Plant, we analyzed the basic elements and the function construction model.In the C/S model system, SQL Server 2000 is adopted to be the DBMS. And important tool ERwin, that designing database, was utilized. The ActiveX technology was mainly used in the realization and interface of modules. After running in some departments of 847 Plant, it improved efficiency in many aspects, such as the product process design, no paper transacting, process information management, etc.
