Because the traditional electric power business expansion report forms setting system program has some characters such as miscellaneous and inefficient and so on, a new frame and implement means of the electric power business expansion report forms setting system based on client/server mode is putted forward. The system has been applied to the electric power information system of electric power bureau of YanShi city in HenNan province(The check and accept reporting of the engineering is provided in the dissertation's appendix). The management information system of Yanshi electricity company is a large engineering project. In order to deal with the complexity of the system and to reduce the cost of technique design , the new methodology of system design is investigated. Object-oriented modeling technology can raise the efficiency of the system building, because it can be used to describe complex systematic architecture with its flexibility, reusability and low cost. The UML(Unified Modeling Language) is a ideal tool of object-oriented modeling. UML describes, analyzes and builds a system visibly and regularly. It guarantees the processes of system analysis, design and test consistently and efficiently to meet the requirements of the user.In this dissertation, the object-oriented modeling techniques, including several famous object-oriented methods, the UML and the development process based on the UML have been studied. Those technologies have been applied to model and to build the management information system of electric power business expansion report forms setting system. It will be of management information system, electricity supply significance to model and to develop the similar management information systems.
