How to share the resource comes to a big problem for everyone to resolve. In this paper, the author describes one method of building a website on intranet for teaching and research, by using Apache as the web server, Mysql as the database, and PHP to access the database. And comparison of each development methods also made by the author for the audience to select.What has been thought and researched by the author lists below:1) study the system architecture2) make comparison of the common open source database, and select the mysql dbms for this project3) implement the network system4) get the needed information, create the query schema, and building the dbms5) make sure of the function of each module , create the dynamic pages connected with dbms6) design the security policy7) make up the rest modules8) apply the α-test, β-test9) run the system for the publicThis website includes mail, uploading courseware, learn-online, e-books, teaching management, etc. It can satisfy the common need for student's studying and the teachers' research. From the website, teachers can upload courseware, making query, downloading software, help-online, etc. And the students can study courseware, apply the assignment online, check term mark, get help online, etc.The detail information of the implementation of the website is described in the paper, and the author also lists lots of code needed. This website has been applied to practical use for sever months , having no serious problem occurring yet.
