Development And Application Of Management Information System Of College And Department

Management Information System (MIS for short) in university has been developed very well within these years. However the college and department level MIS were not studied a lot. At the same time, the college level MIS is the base of the university MIS. So it is important and necessary to study the college level MIS.In this paper, firstly summarized the development and technique of MIS, then design and realize a college level MIS which can run effectively on Linux and windows system.The other character of this paper is the design of database. As we know the database is the base of an information system, so a perfect database can support the system run more effective. In this system the database is designed with the teacher and students active as center, including teacher chart, students' chart, and so on.In this paper, the management information system is designed for a college, and we use the college of hydraulic and architecture engineering as background. Till now, the system can be run.Correctly, if given a server the system can run effectively.
