This text firstly gives the contradiction between the request for global information superhighway construction and military affairs' demand respect and existing communication, it is analyzed that the current situation that the high data rate satellite communications' development both at home and abroad, proves the development of the high data rate satellite modem's necessity and importance. To the reality of satellite communication of the high data rate, on the foundation the analyses in detail of basic performance with limited power and with limited width to the satellite links, The ones that combined the high data rate satellites and spread required actually: Such as low consumption, little volume, easy to realize, working reliable, It has studied the relatively advanced high data rate satellite modem in the world at present, the pluses and minuses relatively of different modulation systems, Thus QPSK system is chosen.Apply to high speed modulate one a piece of key difficult points in traditional QPSK scheme is that the shaped filter is difficult to realize, Its a large amount of computing requires a large amount of high speed multiplication and addition device, Look up table method is used to realize the FIR filter. Its concrete implementation method is derived.Because the restrictions of present memories read speed, the look up table method cannot be realized directly. One of solutions is utilizing the new-type hardware; the other is designing parallel algorithm. This text gives basic thought of parallel algorithm and put forward the corresponding algorithm of parallel algorithm. At last, the suitable hardware in the world at present used in the project is chosen.
