Modern radar is characteristic of diversity system complex structure and multifunction which make new type radar debugging and performance testing very difficult, and outfield experiment cost very high. This stimulates the research of radar simulator. Radar simulator provides a new method of radar debugging and performance testing. Furthermore, it quickens the course of new radar developing. The research of radar simulator has become a hot direction.Design and realization of the system software of certain radar's simulator is studied primarily in the paper. The system software is divided into two parts of control computer software and high-position computer software.The control computer software consists of the control software and the communication software. To meet with the need of fast real-time processing ability of control software, the bottleneck of handling speed is analyzed, approximate method assuring accuracy is adopted, the processing flow is optimized, and problems such as big memory managing, target position estimating, antenna angle estimating, judgment of target over antenna, target managing and reflective wave's parameter generating are solved; The communication software consists of two parts: communication between control computer and high-position computer, communication between control computer and reflective wave generating unit. Because the performance requirements to the two parts are different, series and PCI communication are adopted respectively. The research of the communications software makes the validity work of these two ways under the application background of the radar simulator.The high-position computer is the only man-machine interface. Problems such as data setting, three-dimensional track editing, data managing and data communicating ar,e solved in the high computer software. |
