The research on software architecture is one of most popular directions on Software Engineering , which is be well believed by academe that it is the key domain that can be great advanced and achieved . The main work in this dissertation is as follows:Firstly we introduce the concept of software architecture about the model, the view ,the description and some viewpoint of architecture .Secondly we discuss some current technology of analyze and evaluate software architecture. Then we discuss what is a good software architecture, which we suggest five quality factors to answer, we build a system of quality index from three views software requirement and developing requirement and managing requirement. We discuss the relation of quality factors and quality indexes. Then we suggest the method of evaluating software architecture: (1) evaluating single quality index: evaluating based Scenario ; evaluating based formalization ; evaluating based view. (2)evaluating single software architecture .(3)evaluating several software architectures. In this dissertation we take the project of Tongling for example, and evaluate the project.At last we discuss the example of evaluation matrix. We define the set of quality indexes to evaluate architecture style and evaluate several classical style, get the evaluation matrix. We provide a method to select style based the evaluation matrix.
