The Research And Practice Of Home Networking MAS Based On Middleware

With the rapid development of network, the network has begun to enter home. Home networking has so important influences to future home life that it is very necessary to do comprehensive research for it.First, this dissertation introduces the development of middleware and home networking in China and overseas. Through comparing with various technologies of interconnection at home, the dissertation put forward the structure of home networking in which residential server is regarded as kernel coupling with a lot of different network technologies. Meanwhile, some serious problems, which are holding back the development of the home networking, are discussed.Second, according to the current problems, agent technology is introduced to the home networking and the advantages of the application are described in details. Then, a function model of HNMAS (Home Networking based on Multi-Agent System) is built. After developing the hybrid structure of HNMAS, a three-tier structure of high, middle and low level is created and the content inside the agent is also designed carefully at the same time.Third, based on the HNMAS model, this dissertation points out that middleware is a kind of better technology for implementing the model by analyzing the middleware's advantages and chooses the OSGi (Open Service Gateway initiative) by comparing with various technologies. Followed by, an implementation model of HNMAS based on OSGi is built and on the base of the model HNMAS is designed.In the end, this dissertation introduces the main functions of home networking system in the project, The Research and Development of Embedded System of Information Appliance and Home networking. Furthermore, some home services in the environment of OSGi are simulated as well.
