Spread spectrum technology has many properties, such as strong anti-interference capability, resistance to multipath fading, low probability of being intercepted and multiple access capability, which make it widely used in the civilian communication in recent years and also lead a new trend of communication development rapidly. 16/32 microprocessor based on ARM technology has many advantages, such as high performance, low cost and low power consumption, which make it spread over various kinds of markets, for example industrial control, consumption electronic product, communication system, network system, wireless system. ARM technology is permeating to many respects of our life progressively. A kind of new-type systematic scheme of digital spectrum-spread transceiver based on ARM technology has been put forward. The hardware system has been realized with the chips of STEL-2000A, S3C44B0X, UDA1344TS, EPM7032AE and also some auxiliary circuits. The system has two channels. The transmitting channel implements the voice recording, spectrum spreading and BPSK modulation while the receiving channel implements the BPSK demodulation, code dispreading and voice broadcasting.
