The Design And Implementation Of PDA Forest Resource Data Latter Processing System

The feature of PDA Forest Resource Data Processing System is that it can check and modify data of subcompartment from PDA system and can connect field work with Data Processing System seamlessly, in other words, it can download the data from PDA then upload to Data Processing system on computer directly instead of manual work. The whole process of investigation of subcompartment need no paper by using this system and combines field work and data Processing highly, so to improve the precision and efficiency of design and investigation for forest resources effectively. Based on the study and analysis of technologies on data handling for forest resources design and investigation, this paper discusses the process and principle for designing the system, the design of database and its feature , the function and implementation for critical modules and introduces the developing technologies on Delphi and ArcObjects which were applied in the development of this system.
