As a new type of display technology,Laser-TV is becoming the most potential technology and will be dominant in the 21 century's display field. Its outstanding advantages are large color gamut. Color gamut coverage of the human eye can achieve the best color space to identify more than 90%, Nearly twice the NTSC standard.However, the existing display formats can only support the existing display system which color standard, This has brought about a serious problem to laser display. We need to re-establish a suitable laser display color management system to achieve wide color gamut laser display.In this paper, laser television the main line of color management. through color space conversion principle of analysis and solution to this problem.Because laser TV's color gamut more wide than the existing gamut of television, If the laser-tv directly use the current television television signal as an input signal, display color images will be confusion and distortion. We must deal with the existing standard television signal to make it fit wide color gamut of laser display signaland to display more colorful. This paper has designed a laser television for the dynamic matching system. The system applies to the use of red, green, blue three main wavelength semiconductor laser rear projection television.First of all, The working principle of the system decode RGB drive signal to converte to L*a*b* signal,second,in the L*a*b* color space matching.At last, The new match L*a*b* signal convert to the RGB laser display drive signals.Laser television image processing technology involves the study of knowledge colority, visual characteristics of the human eye,and psychological characteristics of the visual.In the paper, The first chapter will introduce the status of the development of laser display. Chapter II described the internal structure of the laser television, and our optical design. Chapter III detailed analysis of the laser television color gamut conversion principle, as a color gamut conversion systems theory. Analysis of the laser television the importance of color management. Chapter IV introduces the color management system design. Chapter V introduces the color matching algorithm experiments. At present , Laser television research is at the stage of rapid development. Finally thesis carried out at the prospect.
