With the fast development and wide application of the computer networking technology, information sharing is realized in the world. People can send or get the information what they need conveniently. But because of the networking openness, networking protocol imperfection and operation systematic loophole, networking information can be gotten, replaced, deleted and modified by the unauthorized users. Severe menaces are taken to networking system. The development and application of cryptograph technology are paid more attention in recent years. The security of information transmission is enhanced with cryptograph technology encrypting networking information. With the background of remote Virtual Lab in this subject, the transmission technology of data encryption is researched.In this paper data secure mechanism of every layer is analyzed through ISO networking protocol model. The paper studies the basic principle and security of DES algorithm and RSA algorithm which are the typical representatives of conventional cryptosystem and public cryptosystem respectively. Based on them different safety methods such as RSA digital signature, DES data encryption and mixed encryption of DES and RSA are designed using C++ Builder. The data encryption transmission is realized between Client and Server. Furthermore key management is realized including generating, storing, deleting, modifying and searching of key.This software is tested in the data transmission of remote Virtual Lab system. It is proved validity and the security of data transmission is improved.
