At this time, the problem of gas calamities preventing is increasing demanded. Coal industry urgently needs a kind of centralized and intelligentized monitoring system, which also has high reliability. The research on gas concentration predication in coal mines has been developed fast, which is a multi-parameters,multi-functions monitoring system has already developed to incorporate computer technology,communication technology,sensing technology into an organic whole. We have put forward fieldbus gas monitoring system on the basis of chaos predication. There are two theories bases in this paper: chaos predication and fieldbus technologies. Chaos predication guarantee high dependability and high precision of gas concentration. The Fieldbus Control System (FCS) based on HART is replacing the Distributed Control System (DCS) is irreversible. Being a industry standard of intelligent instruments, the HART protocols has its special superiority and practical value. In this paper, the whole design ideas of system and the ways of chaos predication are introduced in detail. The designs of intelligent instrument and the communication controller are introduced. At last, a conclusion is obtained in this paper, and we expect the development of the gas monitor system. We hope this system can get full satisfaction of customers.
