When any enterprises compete with others in the complex and dynamic market environment, Information Technology (IT) is one of the most powerful weapons for them. But it is significantly hard to build an efficient, comfortable, stable and easy-refactoring information system, because the business logic in an enterprise is complex and unstable. In order to solve the problems that are brought on by complex and unstable business logic, this paper promotes that combining Distributed Object Technique and Architectural Patterns will offer great benefits for developing a successful information system. Concretely, this paper, taking some real information systems as examples, makes the following researches: According to the characteristics of business logic in an enterprise, this paper classifies the information system of enterprise and points out the internal relationship between the business logic in an enterprise and the information system of an enterprise. The paper summarizes the great impact of Distributed Object Technique, respectively discusses the three main Distributed Object Techniques, and, using a simple example, analyzes the lower mechanism of based-java Distributed Object Technique. The paper points out the impact of layering in information system and promotes a basic Distributed Three-layers Model and some of its variations. Then it analyses how and when to use different to organize the logic in every layer, emphasizes which architectural patterns can fit complex logic and its reason, also indicates which patterns will match better each other between different layers. Finally, this paper describes the Inventory Management Subsystem and its COM+-based Distributed Three-layers Model and architectural pattern it actually use in every layer. Further more, it analyses why this subsystem usethese architectural patterns in COM+ platform.
